Our client, a well-known FMCG manufacturer based in Fife, is looking for a Supply Chain Planner to join their busy and dynamic team. This is a fast-paced, high-pressure environment where no two days are the same — perfect for someone who thrives under pressure and enjoys the challenge of keeping everything running smoothly.
You’ll sit at the heart of the operation, ensuring stock, materials, and production plans are perfectly aligned to deliver customer orders on time.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Analysing customer sales orders and maintaining accurate production plans in line with forecasts
- Managing item numbers and data on the ERP system
- Monitoring production activity and adjusting schedules to meet daily demands
- Reporting on sales performance against forecast
- Managing materials call-offs and placing production work orders
- Liaising with account managers, suppliers, and internal teams to keep plans on track
- Keeping close control of stock to minimise waste and maximise productivity
- Supporting NPD launches and ensuring all related admin is completed accurately and on time
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has solid planning experience within an FMCG or manufacturing environment
- Can handle pressure and make clear, confident decisions in a fast-moving setting
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills
- Is comfortable working with ERP/MRP systems and large amounts of data
- Has a proactive, can-do approach and enjoys problem-solving
