Rising Talent recruitment is working with a key player in the renewable energy sector to source a Maintenance Technician with an electrical bias.
The Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you’ll play a central role in carrying out routine and defect maintenance to keep plant and equipment operating safely, reliably and efficiently. This is a hands-on position where you’ll be expected to take ownership, tackle problems head-on, and keep the station running at peak performance.
Key Responsibilities
• Follow all safe working practices in line with the SHE Management System
• Execute routine and non-routine maintenance activities to approved standards
• Provide out-of-hours support to maximise plant availability
• Investigate equipment issues and drive effective solutions
• Prepare and deliver clear technical reports
• Maintain accurate maintenance and activity records
• Carry out continuous condition monitoring across the plant
• Support effective planning and ensure resources are in place
• Supervise staff and contractors as required
• Provide cover for the Maintenance Coordinator when needed
• Consistently uphold SHE expectations
About You
You’ll bring strong electrical and mechanical competence, backed by solid technical plant awareness and proven experience working within a CMMS environment. You’re a natural problem-solver with a clear understanding of site safety rules and a disciplined approach to maintenance.
Ideally, you will be time-served with experience in power generation or a similar heavy industrial environment.
