I'm working exclusively with a well-established manufacturing business in West Lothian that's looking for a Key Account Controller to become the trusted point of contact for a portfolio of key customers.
This is a varied role where you'll work closely with customers and internal teams across Planning, Procurement, Engineering and Production to ensure products are delivered on time, problems are resolved quickly, and relationships continue to grow.
What you'll be doing:
- Managing relationships with key customer accounts
- Coordinating customer orders, forecasts and delivery schedules
- Monitoring KPIs including OTIF performance and identifying improvements
- Leading customer review meetings and driving actions forward
- Supporting quotations, pricing reviews and commercial discussions
- Ensure customer schedules accurately reflect manufacturing capability
- Working on new product introductions from prototype through to production
- Maintain ERP systems and customer portals with complete accuracy
- Monitor inventory held for allocated customers.
- Review excess, obsolete and slow-moving inventory alongside procurement department
We're keen to speak to people who have:
- Experience in Customer Service, Account Management or Supply Chain within manufacturing
- Strong ERP and Excel skills
- Ability to analyse data and produce customer performance reports (e.g. OTIF, forecasts, KPIs)
- Experience managing customer orders, forecasts and delivery schedules
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive, organised approach with strong commercial awareness
