As Head of Supply Chain Planning, you’ll take full ownership of Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) and materials management, embedding robust, scalable processes that support both day-to-day operational success and long-term strategic growth.
You’ll lead a talented planning team, developing capability, driving accountability, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. It’s a chance to build something lasting — not just maintain the status quo.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and inspire the Supply Chain Planning team to perform at their best through clear objectives, feedback, and personal development.
- Act as MRP champion, ensuring the system is fully utilised.
- Maintain high-quality master data and drive adherence to MRP and inventory management disciplines.
- Oversee materials management — ensuring raw and packaging materials are always available, waste is minimised, and stock levels are optimised.
- Lead capacity planning across both production sites, balancing customer demand with labour, equipment, and production capabilities.
- Work closely with 3PL partners to ensure logistics performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Ensure on-site storage, stock accuracy, and record keeping are fully compliant with BRCGS and customer standards.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven leadership in supply chain planning within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Deep understanding of MRP systems and ERP processes.
- Hands-on experience with materials management, inventory control, and capacity planning.
- Strong track record working with 3PL providers and managing warehouse/logistics performance.
- Collaborative approach with the confidence to influence across functions — from operations to commercial and finance.
- A data-driven, analytical mindset.
