We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Engineering Supervisor to join our site engineering team and play a key role in keeping production running safely, reliably, and efficiently.
This is a hands-on leadership role combining planned preventative maintenance, breakdown response, and project work. You’ll act as a trusted partner to the local management team, setting high standards for safety, quality, and operational excellence.
The Role
As Electrical Engineering Supervisor, you will:
- Lead and supervise Electrical Shift Technicians, Day Technicians, and Instrument & Control Engineers
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate electrical maintenance and project work
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults across production equipment and site services
- Monitor work orders and project progress, adjusting resources and priorities as needed
- Ensure all work complies with legislation, standards, RAMS, and site procedures
- Carry out regular site H&S checks and ensure accurate documentation
- Develop, support, and performance-manage the electrical team
- Drive continuous improvement and quality-focused operations
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a process environment
- HNC or HND in Electrical Engineering
- Proven experience supervising and leading engineering teams
- Strong fault-finding, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Excellent communication skills and a strong focus on quality and safety
Bonus Skills
- PLC programming knowledge
- HV switching (up to 11kV)
- Experience with VSDs
- AutoCAD or similar
