A leading manufacturing organisation is seeking a Compliance Specialist to provide central leadership across compliance activities for multiple UK and European sites. This is a senior governance-focused role that ensures consistency, high standards, and robust documentation across all operations.
Role Overview
You will lead and coordinate compliance frameworks across multiple sites, working closely with local teams while maintaining strong central governance. The role requires someone highly organised, influential and confident operating across varying levels of seniority.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance and development of multi-site COC scheme
- COC reporting and analysis
- Sales integration and information
- Trademarking/Labelling
- Internal/external auditing
- Maintenance and development of management systems
- Maintenance and development of waste management/recycled wood systems
- Management of systems and queries relation to EUDR
Candidate Profile
- Experience in compliance, sustainability, governance, responsible sourcing or certification within manufacturing or related sectors
- Strong track record in multi-site audit management and certification programmes
- Auditor qualification or substantial auditing experience (internal auditor / lead auditor)
- Skilled in documentation control, policy writing and governance frameworks
- Confident communicating with senior leaders, auditors and external stakeholders
- Highly organised, structured, and able to balance strategic planning with practical needs
- Able to influence effectively without direct authority
