Rising Talent Recruitment is looking for an Assembly Technician to join a growing manufacturing company in Fife? This is a great chance to work in a real team, making top-quality cable harnesses and electronic assemblies.
You'll be involved in reading and following manufacturing documents, using military-grade tools like crimp and soldering irons, and working with precision hand tools and specialised equipment like insulation strippers and heat guns.
Your main focus will be on volume harnessing, ensuring everything meets strict quality standards and customer specifications.
Occasionally, there may be opportunities to work off-site at customer facilities, so flexibility is a plus.
Here’s what you’ll need to hit the ground running:
- 2-3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment, ideally with J-STD-001 and IPC-620 standards
- Good dexterity with your hands and sharp eyesight, especially for colour matching
- Ability to follow technical drawings and manufacturing instructions
- Comfortable working with specialised electrical and pneumatic tools
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality and safety standards
What’s in it for you? Well, aside from joining a supportive team in an established company, you’ll get the chance to develop your skills working to military and aerospace standards. The role offers stable, full-time employment with regular hours, and the chance to work in a clean, well-equipped environment where precision matters. Plus, if you’re someone who enjoys working with your hands and taking pride in producing reliable, high-quality products, this could be just the opportunity you’re looking for. If you’re ready to bring your assembly experience to a friendly team where your skills really matter, we’d love to hear from you.
